A Reluctant Exerciser

Before discovering the world of strength training in 2021, I had always been a gym-goer, but to be honest, I was a reluctant exerciser. I’d show up, get it done, and leave, without really connecting to the deeper benefits. The turning point came after the loss of my Dad. In the midst of processing that grief, I found solace in strength training—and it quickly became more than just a gym visit. It transformed not only my body but also my mindset, and I’ve been committed to it ever since.

Aerobics Instructor Days

Fitness has always been a part of my life in some way. Back in the early 90s, I trained and taught aerobics and step aerobics. This was when the fitness world was buzzing with energy, and I loved being able to motivate people through group classes. Although my passion for aerobics was sidelined when I started working in corporate sales, it laid the foundation for the journey that would come later in my life.

A Career in Sales and Digital Marketing

Much of my working life has been spent in sales and digital marketing. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some incredible companies and even appeared on two Forbes lists for my achievements. While this career was successful, I always felt something was missing. I craved a role where I could make a personal, lasting impact on people’s lives.

Turning Passion into Vocation

Becoming a personal trainer is more than a career move—it’s my vocation. I’m driven by the desire to positively impact the lives of as many women as possible, helping them feel strong, confident, and empowered. My mission is simple: to show women over 50 that it’s never too late to start building strength and resilience—both physically and mentally.

My Love for Rugby and Formula One

Outside of the gym, you’ll often find me enjoying F1 or rugby. These sports have always been a passion of mine (purely as a spectator, although I do love driving beautiful cars!) —there’s something about the combination of strategy, grit, and teamwork that really resonates with me.

A True Food Lover

And finally, I’ll be honest—I absolutely love food! For me, it’s one of life’s greatest pleasures, and I believe that enjoying what we eat is an essential part of living well. It's all about balance and making choices that nourish both body and soul.

This journey has been deeply personal for me, and I’m thrilled to be in a place where I can now use my experience to help others thrive.
